# Ananda Pharma | Ananda is developing first in class therapeutics for the non-hormonal treatment of pain associated with endometriosis and peripheral pain associated with chemotherapy.
> Ananda Pharma’s proprietary and patent pending MRX1 oral solution is designed to treat inflammatory pain conditions such as chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN) and endometriosis. MRX1 oral solution is currently being investigated in two Phase 2 RCTs.  The company is focused on conditions with high unmet clinical needs, involving large underserved patient groups in women’s health and cancer related pain.  These are areas where no current treatments are efficacious and where current therapies have significant negative side effects.

- Ananda has already completed a Phase 1 pharmacokinetic study (PK) in healthy volunteers.

* **Professor Cherry L Wainwright:** Adviser. A pharmacologist with a PhD in Cardiovascular Pharmacology and over 42 years of research experience. Her work focuses on the effects of cannabinoids on cardiovascular disorders. She is President Elect of the British Pharmacological Society.
* **Katie Sloper:** Adviser. Holds a PhD in cancer research and has over 15 years of experience in healthcare policy and medical research, with a recent focus on the therapeutic profile of medicinal cannabis.
